The request for this website came from my father and his brothers. They were renting out this house in Vermont and they needed a website to show information and photos to potential renters.
So I created this website based on their requests, with photo galleries and a summary of the features that would be available to the house renters, both indoors and outdoors.
The website design is based on the colors of the Vermont house: shades of brown, to symbolize the many rooms with wooden walls, and a background of green to symbolize the natural sights that surround the house during the warm months.
I created an indoor photo gallery to show the many different types of rooms that would be included in the house that customers could rent. I also created an outdoor photo gallery, to show the different activities renters could do and natural sights they could see outside.
I included information from the client, that summarized the types of rooms and what was available in them, for that people that rented the house. For example, they'd have access to a kitchen with appliances, 3 bathrooms, (2 with a shower) 5 bedrooms (with sheets and a comforter), and a living room with a TV.
Also, I described the outdoor activities that were available. For example, a pond to swim in, an apple orchard for apple-picking, and a deck to have cocktails on while looking at the clear view of Mt. Ascutney.
I included a page with the house rental prices, so potential renters could read about their options for payment.
To help potential renters with driving to the house, I provided a page with driving directions.
